God's Grace – Original Western Cowboy Sunset Painting, 12x16 Acrylic on Panel
A lone cowboy stands in tall golden grass beside a winding river, watching a blazing sunset pour across the sky and set the red mesas aglow. The river mirrors every streak of orange and gold, so the whole scene feels like light coming home.

The story behind the painting
Some evenings the land goes quiet in a way that makes you take your hat off without thinking. That's the moment I wanted to hold onto in God's Grace. A cowboy has finished his day's work and walked down to the river, with the grass gone gold around his boots. He isn't going anywhere just yet. The sun is setting behind the mesas, the rays are reaching across the whole sky, and the water catches every bit of that fire and carries it right back to him. He doesn't say a word. He doesn't need to. To me, that light isn't only a sunset. It's a reminder that grace shows up whether we've earned it or not, that every hard day ends in a blessing if we stop long enough to see it. I painted this one for anybody who has stood still at dusk and felt thankful.
